Make this beautiful happy birthday card using the stamps, embossing folder and patterned papers from your Autumn Wonder cover gift from issue 199 of Cardmaking & Papercraft!

You’ll need:

  • Your cover gift
  • White, teal and kraft card
  • Gold card
  • Die-cutting machine
  • Circle die
  • Stormy Sky Distress Ink
  • Black ink pad
  • ProMarkers
  • Heart punch
Wishing you a very special birthday
1. Layer a 135mm square of leaf-patterned paper onto a 140mm square of teal card, then attach to a 145mm square white base.
 
2. Use the embossing folder to emboss a strip of gold metallic card with leaves. Trim to fit across the leaf layer, then stick in place, as shown.
 
3. Apply Stormy Sky Distress Ink to a 50mm circle and layer onto a 95mm square of blue card. Layer onto white, then kraft card. Add to the base. 
 
4. Stamp the owl onto card using black ink. Colour with ProMarkers and fussy cut. Attach to the left-hand side of the layered square panel.
 
5. Stamp ‘Wishing you’ onto card, trim and layer onto metallic card. Add a teal punched heart and attach to the base. To finish, snip a 30mm square of leaf paper into triangles and attach to the base, as shown.
