Using your The Nutcracker cardmaking kit from issue 201

Craft this fun-filled card using the The Nutcracker toppers, papers and stamps from your cover gift in issue 201 of Cardmaking & Papercraft.

You’ll need:

  • Your cover gift
  • White card
  • Gold mirri card
  • Black ink pad
  • Die-cutting machine
  • Adhesive pearls
  • Foam pads
Merry Christmas
1 Layer four 57mm squares of patterned papers onto a 121mm square of gold mirri card. Layer onto a 125mm square base.
 
2 Stamp a nutcracker onto white card with black ink. Colour the image. Trim the coloured image to measure 42x75mm. Layer onto gold mirri card then attach to the base using foam pads.
 
3 Stamp ‘Merry Christmas’ onto white card with black ink. 
 
4 Trim the sentiment and layer onto a slightly larger piece of gold mirri card. Attach to the bottom-left corner of the base using foam pads.
 
5 Add two adhesive pearls to the top-right corner of the base, to finish.
